I am attempting a schedule. Well, for these. Just for these. I also have a schedule for KS uploads (M-W-F). You know, no matter how many times I tell myself I needn’t keep a schedule, I really do fall back on them, don’t I? I’ll blame the autism, like I do for most things (or at least, those which I do not blame on the ADHD instead).

Anyway, this month has been more health hell, and in the background I’ve been doing some work on The Demon Isles, a lot of KS editing, and also I’ve been slowly improving some things on the website. Namely, at the advice of someone who knows more about websites than me (so, literally anyone I know, I guess? It’s absurd that I run one. I don’t know what I’m doing!!!!), I’m reducing the size of some of the images, specifically the banners. The covers are okay and so is the fanart, since those are one page where you kind of expect higher res images to be. I’m quarantining the art. But the banners are on like every single page, and they’re apparently bigger than they need to be! So I’m shrinking them. I’m told this will make the website suck less on mobile and shitty internet!

If you think this would be easy, you’re forgetting I use WordPress. The reason it’s taking me so long to implement what sounds like an incredibly easy thing, is because on WordPress there is no “replace this image with this other image” button or feature. I have to upload the smaller images and then manually replace them on every. single. post. And I have to keep the bigger images up while I’m in the process of doing this or the whole thing breaks. It’s actually even more tedious than it sounds.

I’ve also been writing DC fanfic again. I’m dubious about whether I’ll ever post this, but every now and then I’ll read a good comic and get sad about Superman again (this happens to me a lot. I got really into the Justice League as a tween.) and I’ll be like time to get Back On My Bullshit. It never really amounts to much, it’s more like me pushing dolls around in my mind palace and then sometimes it overloads into having to write their little dramas out. Hm. I may have just described what fanfiction is, actually? Never mind.
